« Daydream Believer »

Eight days into 2015, I have to be honest, I can tell that this is going to be the best year yet! I have so many big ideas, I’ve set my goals, have so many adventures planned (I can’t wait to tell you about a summer road trip I’m starting to plan) and I’ve never been so inspired!

I saw something a little while ago that said ‘Don’t Quit Your Daydream, and I found myself instantly inspired by that phrase. I have always been a major daydreamer – always thinking about what I want to do and where I want to go next. This is the year that I become a daydream believer! I have been taking the trips I want to take and living the life I want to live, but this year I’m taking the big leap of a 101 day trip. 101 days of constant traveling.

I wrote a little update about what I was doing to make my dreams come true a couple months ago, but I thought you might want to see what I’ve been doing since. My Southeast Asia trip is only 55 days away, and I’ve been writing like crazy to prepare some posts while I’m gone, working like crazy to save up some money, staying inspired, and making all kinds of preparations!

My parents, who are always incredibly supportive, got me Christmas presents to show even more support! Among other gifts they got me a few things to really get me prepared for SE Asia: packing cubes, a microfiber towel, luggage tags, new Teva sandals (my favorite sandals to wear) and a MacBook cover to help protect my computer while traveling and blogging!

Yesterday, I went to Barnes and Noble to use a gift card that I got for Christmas. I got a couple of books that will hopefully inspire more and more travels – Travels by Michael Crichton and A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson. I’m excited to read these and write about them for some Wanderlust Wednesday pots!

I’ve been trying to get Wanderlust Wednesdays and Somewhere Saturdays prepared for my time in Asia, so that my wonderful readers can still read my two weekly posts while I’m away. Plus, I am working on some posts about trip planning and even more fun stuff!

Like I said, I feel super inspired and am loving life more than ever before. I’m here to tell you, it’s possible to be a  D a y d r e a m  B e l i e v e r !  Take my word for it and don’t quit your daydream!

Thank you so much, Sandra! Rome will be so much fun! I went to Rome in July a few years ago and it was such a great time. How long will you be there? I love your amazing positivity, and thanks so much for reading and taking the time to comment. Cheers to a perfect year!
