4 In Snapshots/ Travel/ Wanderlust Wednesday!

I May Be in Asheville, But My Mind is in Asia…

Wanderlust Wednesday:

Through the end of summer and now into the beginning of fall, I’ve been plotting my next big adventure. It seemed a bit silly planning too intensely when I still had Peru to look forward to, but now that I’m back from Peru my thoughts are constantly on Southeast Asia. I’ve been dying to explore any part of Asia since I was 16 and became intrigued by the cultures and religions that seem so vibrant and beautiful. Now, having studied cultural anthropology and Asian religions in college, I’ve become even more infatuated.

In July, I decided that 2015 was going to be the year. I don’t have official dates set, although I have an idea, and I’m looking forward to spending a decent chunk of time getting lost in the best way imaginable in Southeast Asia. I have read blog posts, the Lonely Planet Southeast Asia on a Shoestring book and pinning pins on Pinterest, so I thought I would share some of the beautiful photos I’ve been drooling over. I would love to hear any suggestions for cities or sites to visit in Indonesia, The Philippines, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia, Myanmar or Thailand, please leave comments, links to posts, anything! I love learning from fellow travelers!

It’s definitely on the list! What were your top three favorite parts of Thailand? I’m trying to see the best of the best 🙂

That’s so exciting! You must see the Angkor temples in Cambodia!! And eat so much fruit in Thailand. I’ve never been to Laos, but it’s definitely on the list. I have heard nothing but great things. Happy planning! =)

Angkor temples are definitely on my list, and I’m a huge fruit lover so I’m sure I’ll be all over eating as much as I can get in Thailand! Thanks for reading and commenting!
