My mother-in-law Monica put together this awesome day trip to Old Town Spring. Originally we were just going to visit Twisted Yarns, an awesome yarn shop I was wanting to visit, but then she remembered that it was right next to this cute artsy community full of unique shops and cafes! Twisted Yarns was our first stop and it’s actually just about a minute outside of Old Town Spring. The owners are super friendly and we received great customer service. They offer a wide variety of yarns and products. They emphasized that they’re a crochet-friendly shop – this is good news for me since I’m more of a crocheter than a knitter. I bought some beautiful yarn, a gorgeous wooden crochet hook and I even got the most perfect craft bag with turquoise sparrows on it. I call that a success! The next stop of the day was to Spring Beads. I have a couple of hardcore hobbies and they were both covered in the first two stops.
