WANDERLUST // WEDNESDAY
I love travel quotes. I have shared hundreds of them on here with you guys, and today I wanted to share 10 more new quotes. I cannot get enough of them, and I love the inspiration I get when I read these quotes. These aren’t just words to me. When I read about other people and their need & love for travel, I feel like I’m having a conversation with them. So, here are 10 mini-conversations with fellow-wanderers that I want to share with you, my fellow-wanderers.
“I ask every single person reading this to go out and explore, no matter the risk. Be brave, sleep on the Great Wall of China and look at it as a deeply important experience… Book that plane ticket, plan that adventure and just go.”
» Carly Campbell
“Then, she began to breathe, and to live, and every moment took her to a place where goodbyes were hard to come by. She was in love, but not in love with someone or something, she was in love with her life. And for the first time, everything was inspiring.”
» R.M. Drake
“When we contemplate the whole globe as one great dewdrop, striped and dotted with continents and islands, flying through space with other stars all singing and shining together as one, the whole universe appears as an infinite storm of beauty.”
» John Muir
“Nature loves courage. You make the commitment and nature will respond to that commitment by removing impossible obstacles. Dream the impossible dream and the world will not grind you under, it will lift you up. This is the trick. This is what all these teachers and philosophers who really touched alchemical gold, this is what they understood. This is the shamanic dance in the waterfall. This is how magic is done. By hurling yourself into the abyss and discovering it’s a featherbed.”
» Terence McKenna
“When it is over, I don’t want to wonder if I have made of my life something particular, and real. I don’t want to find myself sighing and frightened, or full of argument. I don’t want to end up simply having visited this world.”
» Mary Oliver
