Twin Falls- Arkansas

The final part of my hiking adventures in Arkansas with my awesome dad last month is an amazing set of waterfalls!

Twin Falls are on the 4-wheel drive road towards Boy Scout Camp Orr and when the road forks a few miles down, stay right (although there’s a sign at the top that says ‘Twin Falls’, there isn’t one at the fork.)  When you get to the bottom of the hill there’s a sign and then it’s just a beautiful (approximately 70 meter) stroll through the woods to the falls.

My hilarious dad living the outdoor life with an umbrella on our walk- he’s so funny

Now, even though these falls are called Twin Falls, whenever there has been a lot of rain or snow melting, it can turn into Triple Falls, and we were just that fortunate!  Since this hike was simple, and short, I’m going to keep the post short and simple as well, and share some photos of these beautiful waterfalls!

I am so lucky to be able to share amazing experiences with my dad.  I have one of the best travel partners in him and I’m so glad that he and I were able to take a couple of days and get a few hiking miles in together before I moved to Asheville, and I’m looking forward to showing both of my parents the beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains in less than a month!
