I was out of town last Wednesday and wasn’t able to do a post last week, so I’m doing two this week. This posts is another collection of quotes that inspire travel. I really love reading these and if you guys want to read more of these quotes you can find parts 1-15 in my Wanderlust Wednesday Page.
“We may run, walk, stumble, drive or fly, but let us never lose sight of the reason for the journey, or miss a chance to see a rainbow on the way.”
“Advantages of travel. It is no slight advantage to a young man, to have the opportunity for destination among the scnese and places likely to interest the stay-at-home public, he will probably achieve a reputation that might well be envied by wiser men who have not had his opportunities.”
-Sir Francis Galton-
“If at some point you don’t ask yourself, “‘What have I gotten myself into?’ then you’re not doing it right.”
“To travel is worth any cost or sacrifice.”
-Elizabeth Gilbert from Eat, Pray, Love-
“To travel is to possess the world.”
“DOn’t bother with chucrches, government buildings or city squares. If you want to know about a culture, spend a night in its bars.”
“The core of a man’s spirit comes from new experiences.”
-The Into the Wild Movie-
“In traveling: a man must carry knowledge with him, if he would bring home knowledge.”
“I want to take time to understand life. I want to travel.”
