An Afternoon in St. Louis

The day after I stayed with Lilly she and I drove up to St. Louis to see our friend, Stacey!  We didn’t do much up there, but I’ve done a few posts on St. Louis and realized I’ve never posted pictures of it’s greatest landmark: The Jefferson Expansion Memorial/The Gateway Arch.  You can go up in the Arch, and I’ve done it a few times… It’s really cool!  You can feel it sway a bit on really windy days, and you can see all of St. Louis and the Mississippi River from the top!

After Lil and I stopped by the Arch, we went to Stacey’s and we went out for lunch.  We ate at Pi Pizzeria (The Mathematical Symbol).  It’s this really awesome pizza place and you can read more about them on there website (here).  They’re an environmentally sustainable restaurant and have a lot other really awesome things, like Meatless Mondays.  We had the Pi Bites for an appetizer which are like mozzarella cheese sticks, but with fontina, mozzarella, volpi prosciutto and rosemary!  It’s delicious!  Then we built our own pizza with the deep crust, and it was amazing!

After lunch we just spent some time together.  It was a lot of fun and great to see some of my favorite people!
