In 2008, my dad took me to the Southwest for a hiking trip for my spring break of my senior year. We both thought it would likely be a one-time thing, but here we are 15 years later still taking an annual hike ranging from a day trip to a 3-week road trip to Alaska. They’ve evolved over the years as I’ve gone through college, moved out of state, moved back, gotten married and now have 2 kids of my own.
