It’s no secret that I’m a HUGE Harry Potter fan, so I was elated when I found out that the European Tour of Harry Potter – The Exhibition was starting in Norrköping, Sweden, the very city that I was spending the majority of my stay in Sweden in!
Harry Potter – The Exhibition contains several of the movie sets, costumes and props! When you’re getting ready to enter the exhibition, there’s a brief sorting hat ceremony (which I almost volunteered for, but the ceremony primarily took place in Swedish…). Upon entering you make your way through dormitories, classrooms, offices, Hagrid’s hut, and much more guided by an audio tour with narrations from different set and costume designers; pretty cool!
There were a couple interactive portions of the exhibition as well: quaffle posts to practice throwing quaffles through, so you can be sure to make the quid ditch team, and a section where you can pull mandrakes out of pots- but be careful, there were no earmuffs!
