I just made it home from my road trip, traveling 4672 miles, through 11 states, in 24 days- and it was amazing! I got to meet up with family members and old friends along the way, I made new friends and met up with a blogging friend (Liz from Be Love Live). I fell in love with a city, spent multiple days beach hopping, visited several museums, and so much more! I’m going to have a whole collection of posts from this trip, but I wanted to let you all know that I had made it back, I’m working on posts and thankful for all of you who followed along!
I had decided that post-graduation I wanted to have some time to myself, some time to explore and figure things out. I have been blown away by the things that I have learned about myself: my strengths and weaknesses. I figured out more about what I want to do with help and encouragement from new friends in Asheville and from my best friend Stacey, who spent the last five days or so of my trip with me. I knew this trip was going to be a fun adventure, but it’s turning out to be just the beginning of an even bigger adventure… the rest of my life.

January 31, 2014 at 8:24 pmWonderful! Well, I’m in Alabama at the moment. Don’t know how it’ll work out but my plan is to go counterclockwise, staying with friends along the way in Orlando, North Carolina, DC, Baltimore, Chicago, South Dakota, Colorado, and California. I can’t wait. I haven’t done anything like it before so any and all tips and tricks (it’ll all be buses and trains) are more than welcome 😉

February 1, 2014 at 7:36 pmHow lovely! The road trip sounds amazing. My longest (and only) road trip has been 28 days along the south-east coast of Australia, and I loved every minute of it. So glad you had a great time!

February 2, 2014 at 2:57 pmWell your road trip has me beat! I’ve done three over 20 day road trips, and several small 1-2 week road trips, but 24 was my longest! I can’t wait to finally make my way to Australia! Just another thing on my ever-growing list!
