Lake of the Ozarks State Park, Missouri

This summer my friend Stacey and I did one of my favorite things!  We drove from opposite ends of the state and met in the middle to explore a State Park neither of us had been to: Lake of the Ozarks State Park!  It was a blast, as always!  We met up and did a couple hikes!  There are quite a few different trails you can take varying in length and difficulty.  Stacey and I did two of the shorter, easier hikes, but they were still gorgeous.

However, I think we would both agree that the best part was the cave tour!  My pictures of the cave aren’t very good at all because you had to have your camera or phone in a plastic bag.  Therefore these photos aren’t much to look at, but the cave was incredible!  The tour was 8 dollars per person and Stacey and I managed to have a private tour!  It really is quite beautiful on the inside and worth the 8 dollars!

The absolutely beautiful ‘Angel Spring’- seriously this doesn’t do it justice

Post-cave exploring fun!

There’s another really cool part to this park, that we didn’t even get to… The lake!  It started raining about the time we were heading to the lake, so we didn’t manage to swim, but it was still great for the hikes and cave!  Definitely pop in if you’re in the Ozarks!
