» Unfortunately, Matt & I didn’t get to take our Blue Ridge Parkway Trip last weekend (he has had a super serious case of food poisoning), but we’re hoping to make it happen first weekend in August. So, while I daydreamed about this trip, looking out the window at the gorgeous weather, I made a folky soundtrack perfect for hiking in mountains across fields of wildflowers. All of you Spotify users can get the playlist Mountains and Wildflowers Playlist HERE.
What are the songs that inspire you to go out in nature? I’d love to add them to my Mountains & Wildflowers Playlist!

July 25, 2015 at 8:51 amOur playlists are very similar! That makes my heart happy.
I don’t have my playlist on me, but from the top of my head, I can remember a few songs that I think you would enjoy.
Mexico, Facing West, and In The Long Run by The Staves.
In Every Direction, Don’t Let it Pass and Chugga-Chugga by Junip.
Canyon Lands and Storms by Person L.
The Wolves & the Ravens by Rogue Valley.
Wherever is Your Heart by Brandi Carlile.
And I assume you have Lord Huron’s discography. Anything of theirs is fantastic.

July 28, 2015 at 1:14 pmI love Lord Huron. I’m pretty sure they just write songs just to inspire wanderlust!
I’ve never heard of the others, but I will be looking them up right after I write this comment! Thank you so much for taking the time to read this and to make some awesome suggestions!

I also second someone above who mentioned Ramble On. YES!

July 28, 2015 at 1:26 pmThat would be a beautiful song for a wedding – especially in the mountains! That’s my future-father-in-law. All suggestions from him are LZ. Haha! I’ll have to put that on a future playlist for sure! I didn’t think it was folky enough for this one. 😉 Thank you for checking out my blog! Can’t wait to see you guys soon!
