Stacey and I had an absolutely amazing time in New Orleans, and we did so many amazing things! I could do a handful of shorter posts, but decided to combine all of these little moments into one post. I did previous posts on the St. Louis Cemetery No.1, our Stray Boots Adventure, the New Orleans Museum of Art, the food we ate, and our tour of the Laura Plantation in nearby Vacherie, but here are the rest of our little adventures:
Some absolutely beautiful buildings all through the French Quarter!
Gotta love those balconies! I would love to see them in the springtime all covered in flowers!
The beautiful St. Louis Cathedral by Jackson Square!
Inside St. Louis Cathedral
Stacey and I greatly enjoyed the ride we took everyday on the St. Charles Line from our hostel in the Garden District to the French Quarter! So fun, cozy and quaint!
Miss Stacey on the Mississippi Riverwalk

Our Lady of Guadeloupe
A beautiful example of stained glass in Our Lady of Guadeloupe
Outside Our Lady Guadeloupe- an interesting little shrine outside
More of the beautiful French Quarter
Preservation Hall is where the current Jazz greats play! Louis Armstrong once said, “Preservation Hall. Now that’s where you’ll find all the greats.” I think I just so happen to agree with him! It was a pretty incredible performance, and totally worth the money. My only complaint is that it wasn’t long enough because I wanted to hear more!
Stacey and I had a hard time finding things the first day because we didn’t realize that some of the street signs are on the ground.
Stacey and I made a little trek into the Lower 9th Ward to take a look at the Make it Right Foundation homes. Brad Pitt is doing something pretty amazing there.
We had a lot of really amazing experiences in New Orleans. Stay tuned for a Food Envy post coming in the next few days!
