Olympic National Park- Coastal Areas - For the Love of Wanderlust
My family took a trip in ’03 up and down the Oregon Coast, and it was unlike any other ocean experience I’d ever had. So, when I saw that pictures of Olympic National Park’s coast were similar to the Oregon Coast, I got very excited! We drove down to Ruby Beach and sat there for a while watching the waves roll in and crash into these huge rocks that are out in the ocean. This beach was made up of these small rocks that were perfect little smooth circles that my dad and brother tried to skip between the waves. I sat on a big piece of driftwood watching them and taking in the nature around me, just relaxing in the cool breeze. The night before we picked Cory up in Seattle my dad and I went to La Push to go to the beaches. We went to Beach 1 first. It was so cold, but we got in about knee deep before turning back.
