Our time in Philadelphia was short, but we packed a lot in and had a blast! (By the way, every single thing we did in Philadelphia was FREE!) We started off our day with a trip to the Liberty Bell. They have an interesting display about Liberty in the US and the history of the Liberty Bell and then, of course, the actual bell, crack and all! It was pretty cool to see one of the iconic pieces of American History. After the Liberty Bell, we had a few hours to kill before continuing our history tour of Philadelphia, so we walked through the city for a bit and enjoyed the architecture. One thing that I didn’t really remember took place in Philadelphia, is Rocky! The movie my dad has watched dozens of times, and I sat alongside him watching Rocky run up the museum’s steps and throwing his arms up, but this slipped my mind until Zach mentioned it.
