Savannah, Georgia- It’s All About the Details….

Savannah, Georgia is one of those cities that the second I said I was going to The South everyone said that I simply HAD to go to.  I know that there were probably 6 million things that I could have done or visited in the city, but for my two days there, I went to the coast one day and the rest of the time I just simply parked my car and strolled all through the city.  It was quite beautiful to just walk through all of the different squares and parks, look at the houses and other buildings.  It was just incredible, so I thought I would share some of my favorite photos from my hours of walking through the city:

I’m planning my next trip to Georgia, and I definitely want to see Savannah. Any other places you would recommend in the state?

Thank for reading! I would recommend Tybee Island and Fort Pulaski. Tybee is about a 30 minute drive from Savannah, and Fort Pulaski is an old Civil War Fort- if you’re in to history!
Those are honestly the only three places I’ve done in Georgia, and my posts on those places will be up a little later today, tomorrow and Monday! Are you staying near the Savannah area or are you going into the mountains as well?

Has Savannah really got a lot of trees as depicted in the photo’s? Or are your favourite pictures taken mostly in parks or open spaces?

They actually really do! Every block or so in downtown has these beautiful squares with the trees and the streets are lined with them… It’s pretty incredible!

Wonderful photo essay on Georgia. Love the green cover the city has.
The old buildings too look grand.
