The first weekend trip of 2017 was a small road trip up to St. Louis! I always love going up there because my best friend (and frequent-face on the blog) Stacey lives up there! She had to work most of this weekend, but luckily, Matt had made sure that there was another reason to visit STL – he got me tickets to see Andrew Bird + The Lumineers for Christmas! Stacey was working her travel agency’s cruise show, so unfortunately we didn’t get to see as much of her as we would’ve liked. We made sure to make a stop by the cruise show, though, to see her in Travel Agent Action! Isn’t she the cutest travel agent ever?! Laumeier Sculpture Park Our friend Abby recommended stopping by this sculpture park. We’re so glad she recommended it because it was incredible! We were so lucky to have gorgeous weather which made for a really gorgeous stroll through some interesting works of art. They also offer art classes and even have a nature trail that you can take through the woods around the park.
