« A Stray Boots Tour of Asheville, NC »

Stray Boots is a Scavenger Hunt App that takes you on tours of different cities! I used this app to explore New Orleans with my friend Stacey last January and we had so much fun! When Stacey decided she was coming back to visit Asheville again she looked up Stray Boots and saw that there were two Asheville tours, and we knew we wanted to do one of them! It was set in stone when my dear friend Emily over at Asheville Blog had a free tour for us to use- thanks Emily!

Stacey, Lina, Liz and I hit the town and we spent a whole afternoon exploring the city using this really fun app! It took us to some shops that we had never been in, sites that we hadn’t noticed before and we had so much fun ducking into these different places to get warm along the way. We were sure to get chocolates and spiked cider at bars and shops along the way. Of course, I don’t want to give away all the places that this tour takes you to, or the questions you have to answer, but I thought I would give you a little preview of how the four of us did the Stray Boots Asheville Downtown tour.

These tours are made by people & companies and you can make a tour of your favorite city to get a cut of the revenue! Obviously, some tours are better than others, and knowing Asheville the way I do, I would have chosen different places to highlight, but it made for another truly fun day of exploring! On your next trip be sure to check and see if there’s a tour! Plus, it’s fun to make these tours your own by stopping in little places for a drink or a bite to eat.
