Street Art of Portugal: A Photo Essay - For the Love of Wanderlust
In the last few years, I’ve grown to greatly love and appreciate street art. I almost make a game out of “collecting” it. (Simply by taking photos, of course.) I was blown away by the street art of Portugal because some of it is just so incredibly impressive. We found that Lisbon had a lot of tagging, which I don’t especially care for, especially when it’s all across its historical buildings and fountains, but then you turn a corner and you see amazing murals and other small works of street art. I thought I’d share a small photo essay of the photos street art I collected in Portugal. STREET ART IN LISBON This beautiful mural was in the Mouaria district. Our tour guide pointed it out to us on our Lisbon Food Tour. STREET ART IN PORTO I loved this series of murals. ‘Where does our body end?’ it asks. These were two of my very favorites.
