Happy Wednesday! I hope everyone is having a great week! I’m getting all set for a little over a week in Europe, and I’m really looking forward to that! So, to get myself, and hopefully you guys, inspired to keep traveling this beautiful world, this week’s Wanderlust Wednesday is all about some amazing travel quotes:
***
“To be treated well in places where you don’t expect to be treated well, to find things in common with people you thought previously you had very little in common with, that can’t be a bad thing.”
-Anthony Bourdain-
***
“The best way to get to know a city is to count up how much change you have in your pocket and take the subway as far as that amount takes you.”
-David Bowie-
***
“I’ve been homesick for countries I’ve never been, and longed to be where I couldn’t be.”
-John Cheever-
***
“A mind that is stretched by a new experience can never go back to its old dimensions.”
-Oliver Wendell Holmes, Jr.-
***
“We travel, initially, to lose ourselves, and we travel, next, to find ourselves. We travel to open our hearts and eyes. And we travel, in essence, to become young fools again- to slow time down and get taken in, and fall in love once more.”
-Pico Iyer-
***
“The use of traveling is to regulate imagination by reality and instead of thinking how things may be, to see them as they are.”
-Samuel Johnson-
***
“Travel is like a giant blank canvas, and the painting on the canvas is only limited by one’s imagination.”
-Ross Morley-
***
“Our nature lies in movement; complete calm is death.”
Blaise Pascal

March 7, 2014 at 5:59 pmHi Paige. If you do stop in Paris during your express trip, try the Gustave Moreau museum. Not touristy a all. May not be your style, but worth your while. (And/or Marmottan of course. Impressionists) Have a good trip.
