Wanderlust Wednesday: Souvenirs

First of all, I wanted to apologize my readers for missing two weeks in a row- midterms were rough this semester, but I’m back and ready to talk about Wanderlust!  Ever since my real first trip I went on- that I REALLY remember- at 8 years old, I have been a collector of souvenirs.  I have everything from a monstrous collection of postcards, to clothing, to christmas ornaments, to pottery, and the list goes on and on.

Souvenir is French for remember, and is defined as a thing kept as reminder of a person, place or event.

I think that souvenirs are an important part of travel so that you do remember all the amazing things you’ve seen and experienced.  I don’t necessarily mean buy 8 million things and blow all your money on souvenirs, but find things that mean something to you and remind you of something special about your trip!  So, today I’m just going to share some pictures of some of my favorite souvenirs I’ve collected:

My Postcard Collection, My Voodoo Doll from New Orleans, and an Owl Figurine from Greece

These are just a few of my favorite trinkets I’ve collected over the years.  Thanks for reading everyone, and I’d love to hear about your souvenirs… What do you collect?  What’s your favorite souvenir and why?
