These are 16 spectacular waterfalls in Iceland that you should see! SKOGAFOSS Skogafoss is easily one of the most recognizable waterfalls in all of Iceland. Its relatively close proximity to Reykjavik. It’s along that southern coast trek that many visitors make. Skogafoss is a beauty in summer and winter and always has a decent flow. The power of this waterfall is unreal and it’s just a rush to see. You can enjoy it from a short stroll to its base, or you can climb the stairs to view from above. If you visit in the winter, be careful on those stairs; they ice over. The big bonus of this waterfall is continuing up the river and checking out the other waterfalls above Skogafoss.
